I think we all can agree that 2020 was rough! It was a challenging year especially for our health. I put on 15 pounds from the end of 2019 to March of 2021. I was not feeling good in my skin. I was helping other people get healthy but not being the best version of myself. 😥
SO I decided I had enough & wanted a change in my eating habits. I pretty much ate healthy EXCEPT I love sugar. As I have aged the sugar has done a number on my body. I started hearing all the great benefits of intermittent fasting. As I researched this way of living, I found many reasons why I should try it. Beginning the last week of March 2021, I started eating low calorie two days a week. I allowed myself 500 calories on Mondays and Thursdays and ate lower carb the other 5 days a week. I still have a few sweets or a glass of wine on my non-fasting days but the increasein my metabolism has been amazing. It has been a game changer for me. I have lost 15 pounds and I feel so much better. 😍
