Have you ever took the time to write down what you’re thankful for? Have you made this a daily routine? I have done this periodically and when I do, I am so much more thankful for the different parts of my life I rarely take time to focus on. November is a wonderful time to start this habit.
In life, it is easy to dwell on the negative but when you break things down, we have a lot in which to be grateful. When we only focus on what we need to improve, everything can become so overwhelming and taxing on our mind and spirit. But if we give ourselves a couple of items to appreciate each day, we can start focusing on the positive and what good things we have going on for us.
Gratitude and self-affirmation are a very important part of your health! Join me in starting a gratitude journal for the rest of November. Write down 3 items each day for which you are thankful or for which you did well the day before. I plan to do this first thing in the morning so I can start my day in a positive way. Together we will choose to be grateful and kind to ourselves through this month. We all deserve to be healthy and happy!!
