One Pan Dinner: Turkey Quinoa and Vegetables

Here is a great recipe for you to make for the week. We usually eat it for dinner and then I have enough for my lunch for the next couple of days during.

  • 1 lb.  Italian seasoned ground Turkey
  • 1/2 lb. Italian Turkey sausage
  • 1 Box Quinoa and Brown rice blend. Any flavor!
  • 1 bell pepper –  I prefer a red, yellow or orange sweet bell pepper
  • 1 bag of frozen French green beans
  • Italian dressing. I prefer spicy Italian dressing.

Brown your meat. While the meat is browning, cook the rice and quinoa according to the directions on the package.  Also, remove your frozen green beans from the package and place on a dish. Top them with 3 tablespoons of Italian dressing and let them marinate for 10 minutes. After you have cooked your meat, drain off the excess fat. Stir in your chopped bell peppers, quinoa mixture, and green beans.  Finish cooking until vegetables are tender.
